Dear People,

When I first heard of NDE's I was very sceptic. I am a rational person and though I am very interested in the spiritual I thought it was nonsense to be honest. I also didn't believe in a concept of heaven or afterlife, when your death your brain stops working and therefor extinguishes what people call "your soul". This all changed on my last summer break wen I went to Spain for 3 weeks. During this holiday I passed out in the pool and sunk to the bottom were according to some bystanders I lay for a couple minutes. Some strange things happened in those few minutes. I always thought drowning (or nearly drowning) would be very unpleasant but a kind of warm sensation came over me, like someone wrapped a blanked around you. I had some random memories (not the life flashing before your eyes thing though), I can't remember any of them but as I recall it was nothing specific and certainly not my entire life. I think they were memory's not older then a week or so. The strange thing is that I only remember the sensation and emotions I felt. I don't recall the part of passing out, I only remember getting in the pool and then sitting on a bench besides the pool coughing and feeling messed up. I'm currently trying to find out what exactly happened in those few minutes by talking to other people about their experiences. I feel privileged to have had an experience like this and I'm trying to get all the good things out of it. It definitely changed my view on life although I'm not quite sure yet how. I would appreciate it if you would share your experience with me, it might help me to understand mine.

Love Bart

P.S. I would like to ask you to contact me trough MSN (Bart@rsrclan.com) if you think you can help me understand my experience.

Hey Bart,

Before my NDE, I never really gave death much thought other than I was afraid of it because I didn't want to go to hell. Laughing Since my NDE, I can't wait to die so I can go back to where I was at. Very Happy

After my NDE, I thought others went to the spirit world too. But I would hear stories of people saying they went to hell, and some said they didn't see anything but darkness, and others had some really wild stories. I thought they were just saying those things to make me think I was the one who didn't experience what I did.

From what I know about NDE's and the many experiences one can have, is from the belief they have. Ussually for a day or two after a person dies and if they don't go into the spirit world immediately, they stay in the spirit realm where they create their own reality from the thoughts and beliefs they have.

The ones who find themselves outside their body, they willed themselves out with or without knowing it. Some people don't know they have to will themselves out and it feels to them as if their dreaming but conscious to their surroundings. I think you might have been put in suspended animation for a few minutes, angels have been known to do this to people who don't leave their body right away. The way you described the warm sensation that came over you, is what it feels like to be put in suspended animation.

If I confused you, just holler.

I'm a bit confused indeed, allot to think about. Could you maybe tell me some more about this "suspended animation" because I really don't know anything about it.

Love Bart

Suspended animation means to be put in a coma type state, its also known for being in the arms of the Angels. They do this to keep you from having hardly any memory, to not having any memory of the events that take place during a time of harm that one would be experiencing. To experience their protection like that is very rare. They wouldn't have done it, if you didn't have an important mission to accomplish here in the material world.

Skyer,

Welcome first off, and glad you came back.....

I believe that we are all taught something before we come back. This might not materialize for sometime though.

It may be that indeed, you are not to remember such until you are stable and proper, or there was a seed planted, and it will wait until it's watered.

Either way, feel blessed that you were allowed to return, and fulfill your duty, and that indeed, you were touched by his hands.

with life,
Paragon

Thank you for your words. I indeed feel very privileged that this happened to me. It's a wonderful thing, which not many people get to experience. I think one problem might be that I do not believe in a god/heaven although after my experience I do strongly believe in an "afterlife" for the soul. But even though I myself do not believe I find the religious explanation very helpful to, the lesson you spoke of makes allot of sense to me. People change allot after an experience like this and I think part of it has to do with the lesson you spoke about it. They realise what is really important in life. Since I am still at and early stage of understanding my experience I cannot yet determine what my lesson is but I hope to one day find out. Thank you for sharing with me.

Wow... you gave me more to think about. I think this might indeed be what i experienced since i can't remember "being hurt" and the warm feeling could be discribed as protective. I always did believe in a guardian of some sort. This makes sence to me, did you yourself experienced something simular to this ?

Bart,

You are welcome....

As far as your non-belief in a God like figure; I would say, do not worry about it at this point. In your words, and thoughts on your experience, you were left with the knowledge of an afterlife for the soul, and that is all that matters right now.

This is the seed of which I spoke of, PERHAPS.....lol

I rememberd an image this morning, an image of the beginning (I think) of my NDE, when the warm feeling surounded me. I decided to get my noteblock out and draw it to share it with you.

The little black stars in the middle were blinking and the edges were faded out (like when you gaze at an object). The colour of this image was beige (maybe even gold like). If you would like to know more about it feel free to ask me, I hope it can help me (and you to help me) understand.

What does "jist" mean, I tried several dictionaries but couldn't find the meaning of that word.

skyer,

gist, gyst or jist. I prefer jist, for alternate spelling for such a simple word is just not correct in my book. The word technically was gyst at one time, then changed to gist, but it was always pronounced jist.

So anyways the word means the body total of a story or the main thrust of the story, or in this case the picture.

so sorry for the confusion,

I really couldn't tell you the essence of this image, It fits the warm feeling perfectly, as if the colour surounded me to. The cliché with NDE's is always the part were people "go trough" a tunnel. This might have been my tunnel. It's hard to remember it in datail.

Hi Skyer Welcome!

I wanted to ask you about your nde drawing. Is the drawing a soul, with the blinking lights?

Very Happy sunshine

Like I said I'm not sure what it is. A friend of mine told me to wright everything down so I could figuere out more about my experience. Since I couldn't discribe what I remember I decided to draw it and that picture is the outcome. During my NDE (at some point) I saw that. Could be anything I really don't know (not yet).

I didn't experience that, I did experience the warm feeling going through the tunnel of lights. At the time, I had no idea I was going through any tunnel. My NDE ended after I had visited the Spirit World for a while, and than I was given a choice to stay and go back later, or I could go back now. I chose the go back now, and I did. What was I thinking? Confused

That drawing looks like the Great Central Sun, its where Life, the Universe and everything in it came from, even Mother and Father God. The Great Central Sun is protected by Light Beings. Well, your drawing reminds me of it, because it looks like it. The Great Central Sun is so huge, it would take the Earth 35 million years to make one complete circle around it. I don't know if Nasa knows about that mongo size sun or not, but people from the spirit world knows about it.
